A Catalogue of a valuable and highly interesting collection of pictures by favourite English artists, consisting of a very choice and fine assemblage of the works of that admired landscape painter Gainsborough, both paintings and drawings, framed and glazed : the property of the late S. Kilderbee, Esq., of Suffolk : who was the particular friend of Gainsborough, and for whom a few of these were painted expressly by the artist : also a capital landscpe by Wilson, and a few other pictures, the property of the Rev. W. Rose, of Cashalton, deceased : the chief of which was painted expressly for Mr. Rose by Wilson : an original portrait of Joseph Sharpe, Esq. by Sir Joshua Reynolds : a sea-scape by Calcott : the detected correspondence, and a portrait of his late mother, by Opie : and various by A. Kauffman, West, Stothard, Wheatley, Ward, Glover, Barker, Westall, Morland, Arnold, and some fine drawings in water colours by Glover, Turner, Copley Fielding, Reinagle, Robson, Nicholson, Munn, and P. Dec : distinguished for his genuine taste in the virtu : the valuable assemblage of pictures collected by him, during a long series of years a very considerable expence, presents a choice treat to the eye of the scientific collector : they comprise the works of Raphael, P. Del Vaga, J. Romano, Correggio, Schidone, Titian, P. Veronese, Schiavone, Tintoretto, Bassan, Carracci, Dominichino, Guido, Poussin, Murillo, Albano, E. Sarani, C. Maratti, Le Seur, Mengs : a variety of interesting portraits, of the literary fiends of the deceased, and other distinguished characters : the celebrated portrait of Nelly O'Bryan : a study for the portrait of Sir J.
