A catalogue of all the truly elegant household furniture, silver-gilt and silver plate : Oriental and modern porcelain : some pictures and drawings framed and glazed of William Beckford, Esq. of Fonthill : among the foregoing are a variety of superb cabinets of solid ebony, elaborately carved or lnlaid with Florentine Mosaics, and other costly materials, and mounted with or-moulu, in the finest taste : sumptuous cabinets of buhl cabinets, jewel chests, silver-gilt drawing-room large candlesticks, with branches by Auguste : three capital leaved screens of the finest Japan, scarcely to be matched : rose-wood bookcases : large Persia-pattern and other carpets in the nicest condition : a few pictures of the first quality and importance, the Sibylla Lyrica by Lod : Carracci from the Lansdown Cobbection : Job, by S. A catalogue of a valuable and interesting collection of high-finished modern pictures and drawings, framed and glazed : being the genuine and entire stock of an eminent publisher, retiring from business : among the paintings, are The Lord of the Vineyard, and Death of Sapphira, by Opie : original finished studies of wild animals by Northcote : an exquisite small modem of the Storming of Seringapaam, and a ditto the Death of Abercrombie, by R. K. 50. A catalogue of the genuine and very capital cabinet of choice Italian, French, Flemish and English pictures, original drawings, and articles of ancient sculpture, of the late Hon. C. F. Greville, F. R. and A. S. &c. &c. &c. Dec. : which were collected by him with a design to illustrate the progress of painting, and its perfection by the Masters of the great Italian and other schools : in the former point of view they display a rare and highly curious series from Cimabue to Raphael : the specimens in which were selected from authentic situations, and many of them are cited in the biography of the authors of them : the perfection of the act is exemplified in various chef d'oeuves of the finest class and in the purest condition : of which the most distinguished are, by Correggio, a Head, a genuine fresco : Raphael, Venus, Vulcan and Cupid, a beautiful cabinet picture : S. Del Piombo, a portait : Baroccio, the Marriage of St. Catherine, a lovely gem : The Chess Players, Titian : Mars and Venus, P. Veronese : I. Carracci, a small Holy Family with Saints, an exquisite Bijou : N. Poussin, a small classical subject, equal to Domenichino : Ruben's, the Loves of the Centaurs : a perfect and unrivalled performance : two by Teniers : a brilliant landscape by Both : and The Celebrated Niobe by Wilson : also, a capital marble statue of Pudicitia, size of life : and a head from the Villa of Adrian : which (by order of the administrator, and permission of the lessor,) will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, on the premises, near the Church, at Paddington Green, on Saturday, March 31, 1810, punctually at one o'clock.

Boydell's : these justly-admired pictures, in which the poetry of our Great Bard has furnished occasion for a proud display of national talent, comprises many of the happiest efforts of such deceased artists as the immortal Sir Joshua Reynolds, Wright of Derby, Hodges, Romney, Hamilton, Wheatley, Kirk, Ramberg, and others, the rarity as well as the excellence of whose works, must insure them a distinguished place in the collection of the connoisseur : among the spirited performances of living genius, are the King Lear, by Mr. West : and various by Barry, Northcote, Opie, Tesham, Fuseli, Hoppner, Smirke, Stothard, Peters, Rigaud, Westall, Boydell, A. Kauffman : and that admirable set of cabinet pictures by Mr. Smirke : basso relievos, by the Hon. Mrs. Damer : and the Grand Alto Relievo, the Apotheosis of Shakspeare, by the late Thomas Banks, Esq. R.A. : many of the above pictures are of the cabinet size, and the remainder will be found worthy objects for the late saloons of the nobility and Gentry, or the Halls of Incorporate Bodies, or for Exhibitions in distant parts of the kingdom : the whole will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, on the premises, on Friday, May 17, 1805, and two following days, (Sunday excepted), at twelve o'clock, by order of the proprietor, without reserve.
