A catalogue of the very choice and valuable musical library : containing (among other curious articles) the complete works of Luca Marenzio, Orlando Di Lasso, Moley, Weelker, Wilbye, Bennett, Purcell, and other eminent composers of the 16th and 17th centuries : a very curious MS. copy of Marcello's Psalms, in 32 cases : Steffani's Duets, 4 vols : a Dixit Dominus by Pergolesi, very scace : the celebrated Masters of Habemann, and Te Deum by Uria : together with the choice and favourite works of Palestrina, Stradella, Carissimi, Bernabel, Steffani, Colonna, Bononcini, Scarlatti, Leo, Caldara, Bigaglia, Fiocco, Bassani, &c. &c. : and a large collection of Italian madrigals, by Croce, Archadelt, Pevernage, Waelrant, Phillips, and other esteemed authors : the whole in fine preservation, obtained and purchased with great judgment and indefatigable pains, at a considerate expence during a long course of years, by the late Dr. Bever : being one of the finest collections ever offered to public sale : which, (by order of the administratrix of Mr. John Hindle, Deceased,) will be sold by auction by Mr. White, at his rooms, Storey's Gate, Great George Street, Westminster, on Thursday, June the 7th, 1798, and following day, at twelve o'clock : at the same time will be sold his fine-toned Grand Piano-Forte, by Frecker, a Violoncello, printed books and prints : the library may be viewed on Tuesday the 5th and Wednesday the 6th of June, when catalogues may be had : and of Mr. Birchall, Bond Street.

14. A catalogue of a most capital collection of Italian, French, Flemish, and Dutch Pictures, by the most esteemed Masters, in the highest state of preservation : also a valuable selection of capital high-finished drawings, remarkable fine prints, books of prints and bronzes : small but well-chosen library of books in elegant and uniform bindings : a number of fine casts in plaster from the rarest subjects of the antique : capital models, a great variety of drawing implements : mathematical and musical instruments : a quantity of choice music : also all the elegant household furniture : fine china : a fine-toned piano forte by Longman and Broderip : a modern chaise and harness : and a great variety of curious and valuable effects : the property of John Alexander Gress, Esq. deceased, eminently and most deservedly distinguished for his knowledge in the fine arts, at his late house, No. 24, on the west side of Tottenham Court Road, nearly opposite Tavistock Street, Bedford Square : which will be sold by auction (by order of the executor) by Mr. Christie, on the premises, on Monday, April 7th, 1794, and five following days, at twelve o'clock : to be viewed Frida and Saturday preceding the sale.--catalogues may be had on the premises : at the Rainbow Coffee House : and in Pall Mall : also, at one o'clock, on the first day's sale, will be sold, the valuable lease of the premises--particulars may be had : N.B. the first and second days sale, will consist of prints, books of prints, &c. : third and fourth days, the drawings, drawing implements, models, &c. : fifth day, the capital collection of pictures, and library of books : sixth day, all the houshold furniture, china, musical instruments, &c.

15. A catalogue of the superlative collection of cabinet pictures and miniatures, beautiful Roman missals, most superbly illuminated, a few bronzes, carvings in ivory, specimens of stained glass from the earliest periods of the art, drawings, books of prints and port folios, a beautiful impression Macklin's Bible and a small library of books : the property of, and selected with equal taste and judgment by, the late John Edward Breen, Esq., deceased, of Swithin's Lane, Lombard Street : which will be peremptorily sold by auction, by Mess. 42. A catalogue of that magnificent and truly valuable collection of pictures, the production of the great artists of the British School, known as the collection of the Shakspeare Gallery : formed under the spirited directions, and with the unbounded expence, by those distinguished promoters of the fine arts, the Messrs. Boydell's : these justly-admired pictures, in which the poetry of our Great Bard has furnished occasion for a proud display of national talent, comprises many of the happiest efforts of such deceased artists as the immortal Sir Joshua Reynolds, Wright of Derby, Hodges, Romney, Hamilton, Wheatley, Kirk, Ramberg, and others, the rarity as well as the excellence of whose works, must insure them a distinguished place in the collection of the connoisseur : among the spirited performances of living genius, are the King Lear, by Mr. West : and various by Barry, Northcote, Opie, Tesham, Fuseli, Hoppner, Smirke, Stothard, Peters, Rigaud, Westall, Boydell, A. Kauffman : and that admirable set of cabinet pictures by Mr. Smirke : basso relievos, by the Hon. Mrs. Damer : and the Grand Alto Relievo, the Apotheosis of Shakspeare, by the late Thomas Banks, Esq. R.A. : many of the above pictures are of the cabinet size, and the remainder will be found worthy objects for the late saloons of the nobility and Gentry, or the Halls of Incorporate Bodies, or for Exhibitions in distant parts of the kingdom : the whole will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, on the premises, on Friday, May 17, 1805, and two following days, (Sunday excepted), at twelve o'clock, by order of the proprietor, without reserve.
