The bulletin was issued during a general strike, called by the general council of the Trades Union Congress, that lasted from 4 May 1926 to 13 May 1926. Roughly 1.7 million workers participated, especially in transport and heavy industry, with the goal of preventing wage reduction and worsening conditions for 800,000 locked-out coal miners.
Comprises four items, captioned: Latest strike news; Traffic announcements; Yesterday's racing at Chester; Stop press news, no settlement in sight. -
