Handbill for Thomas Archer's business of stage wagon rentals.
"Set out every Tuesday and Thursday, at twelve o'clock at Noon precisely, from the Four Swans Inn, Bishopsgate-Street, where goods are taken in, and carefully forwarded to the following places, viz ..."
"N.B. The proprietor will not be accountable for any plate, watches, jewels, cash, writings, lace or any article of more than ten pounds value, unless entered as such and paid for accordingly."
BAC: Verso of hand-bill with invoice for E. Millingsley, Esq. dated July 17, 1796 for the use of a carriage to London (£2/2/0), to greasings upon the lead (£0/1/0) and bookkeeper (£0/1/0). Total price being (£2/4/0). Receipt of payment noted as being received by Thomas Archer on July 26. -
