A catalogue of the important collection of pictures by the ancient masters : comprising many chefs-d'œuvres from the distinguished collection of King Charles I, King of Spain ; King James II, The Regent of France ; the Prince De Carignan, the convent of Santa-Clara, &c. by the renowned master of the schools of Italy, Spain, Germany, and Holland particularly specimens by Raffaelle, Titian, Fra. Bartolomeo, Domenichino, The Caracci, Caravaggio, Guido, Andrea del Sarto, Guercino, Garofalo, Calabrese, Giotto, Morales, Murillo, Alonzo Cano, Rembrandt, Vandyck, Jan Steen, &c. also, a crucifixion, of large dimensions, in ivory, of exquisite workmanship by Benevenuto Cellini ; a bas-relief of the last supper, in white marble, by Torregiano ; and a small carving in ivory of St. Francis, by Albert Dürer : which will be sold by Mr. Phillips, at Exeter Hall, Strand, Friday, the 27th, and Saturday, the 28th of July, 1832, at one for two o'clock, precisely.
