Notes
One of the annotations on the inside of the back cover reads "Some photos , collected by Mr. Henry A. Harper in Egypt in my early days." Also present is a bookplate with the initials "T.W." and the motto "Aussy bien come je pouroy."

The first photograph is annotated in graphite with an arrow pointing to a figure in the photograph and the note "myself, HAH 1872."
Album of photographs collected by Henry Andrew Harper during his trip to Egypt in 1872. The images depict primarily architectural structures and landscapes, as well as views of the Nile River. Many of the photographs are annotated in graphite. -
