    Macer Floridus may be a pseud. for Odo Magdunensis, who may have lived in France between 1070 and 1112. Cf. B.P. Flood, "The medieval herbal tradition of Macer Floridus," Pharmacy in History, 18:2 (1976), p. 62-6.

    On the printer and the date, see H. Delarue in Genava 2 (1924) pp. 177-86. Two issues are known (H 10417 etc. and R 972 etc.) with the title page differently set up. Proctor assigned to Paris. The copy in Munich BSB has a MS date 1506.
