Notes
Abbey, J.R. Travel in aquatint and lithography, 1770-1860, 565
"Printed by W. Flint, Old Bailey, London."
Plates are hand-colored and engraved by Vincent Woodthorpe.
This copy probably bound up from parts as it includes the page of Directions to the Binder at end. This page also has printed on it a ruled square, with title printed within, for use as a spine label if copy was to be bound in boards.
Although the Prologue (p. 152-153) is indeed probably by Barrington, Abbey attributes this work now to one Henry Carter.
