"The wood engraving was printed from Richard Shirley Smith's original block; the text is handset in Walbaum, and printed on Twinrocker at the Janus Press in Newark, Vermont ... by Susan Johanknecht and Claire van Vilet for Anthony Baker at the Gruffyground Press, Ladram, Sidcot, Winscombe, Somert in England. The cover is Fabriano Ingres. The edition is limited to two hundred & forty copies; seventy-five for Twinrocker in Brookston, Indiana & The Janus Press and one hundred and sixty-five for the Gruffyground Press."--Colophon.
The illustration is Richard Shirley Smith's wood engraving of a mournful girl sitting on the floor [Bain no. 239].

Sewn soft cover of brown Fabriano Ingres paper. Extra copy or the wood engraving (here printed in blue) laid in (signed and numbered 4/60) by Shirley Smith. Also laid in an unsigned wood engraving by Simon Brett and a typed letter from Anthony Baker, the Press's proprietor, explaining the meaning of 'Gruffyground' and reporting James Reeves's death.
