BAC: British Art Center copy bound in publisher's green gilt-tooled cloth. Gilt edges. Tipped in at front is a list (dated April 1861), in pen and black ink, of works purchased by the Earl of Ashburton, with notes on lot numbers, titles and price. Inserted and glued into this list is the receipt (lot numbers, titles of work and price) dated May 17th 1816, of purchased objects received by G. Rhodes. Ms annotations on back of front cover, front of first free endpaper and front of frontispiece of lot numbers. Bookplate: Rupert Gunnis.
