Peterson, W.S. Bibliography of the Kelmscott Press A40
Page [223] features an illustration designed by Edward Burne-Jones, depicting Chaucer in his study kneeling before an apparition of the Virgin and Child among flowers. Engraved by William Harcourt Hooper. The text (pages 223-224) features "An A.B.C. of Geoffrey Chaucer."
The proof is unmarked and in all respects appears to be the same as that of the final published version in the Kelmscott Chaucer.
