Manuscript bill, in pen and black ink, recording purchases made by Mr. Jefferson from Edward Leaf in 1813. Records 11 purchases (on March 8, March 26, April 25, June 15, July 18, and Sept 29) in which Jefferson buys a waistcoat, coat, breeches, cape, trimmings, pearl buttons, suit repair, and a new white coat, for a bill totalling £11/8/10. Bears no receipt of payment. Written on verso: "Sufficient funds. Mr Jefferson a/c".
