BAC: British Art Center copy is one of four prints by Bonifacio added as extra illustration to Domenico Fontana's Della trasportatione dell'obelisco vaticano et delle fabriche di nostro signore papa Sisto V, 1604 (DT62.O2 F6 1604+). Bound between leaves 18 and 19.
Depicts the dedication ceremony of the obelisk. The view shows the intended new facade and approach to St. Peter's (not then built) probably acording to designs by Domenico Fontana.
