Notes:
BEIN ZZi 1639: Pars 1, ff. 10-11, 214b, 338b, pars 2, f. 331b pars 3, f. 372 (pasted to back cover) blank. Pars 1, f. 21, 30, 225, 234, pars 3, f. 303, 312, 328b are in manuscript. The text of vol. 1 f. 233b (Bk. VII, parts of chapter 66-67) has been repeated, due to the printer's error, on f. 154b. The correct text of f. 154b (Bk. V, end of ch. 38 through beg. of ch. 40) has been supplied in negative photostat from the copy in the Boston public library.
BEIN ZZi 1639: Pars 2, f. 1, Pars 3, f. 56 mutilated; several other folia mutilated slightly in margins; some mended; in very good condition, though there are some spots and water stains, especially in pars 3.
BEIN ZZi 1639: Original stamped vellum binding on boards. Pieces of a vellum manuscript used as a lining to the covers. In a few particulars Yale copy differs from those described in other libraries: e.g. Copinger gives 336 ff. for pars 1; Yale copy has 338 ff. Copinger gives quotations in pars 1, f. 336a, pars 2, f. 12a which in Yale copy are in pars 1, f. 338a and pars 2, f. 10. Initials painted in red.
