Made over several months in 2012, A Thousand Hours was filmed mainly in Edmund de Waals' South London studio. It gives an insight into his preoccupations as an artist, ceramicist and writer, and into his working methods, as he talks about and prepares eleven ceramics installations for an exhibition at the Alan Cristea Gallery, London.
