With 69 illustrations in volume 1 and 71 illustrations in volume 2, including pictorial city plans, architectural drawings, maps, and portraits. Some have been engraved by Joan Blaeu, others have been signed by C. Decker, A. Blooteling, I. Luyken, R. Nantevit, J. de Broen, I. de Ram. The added title pages are engraved by A. Blooteling and G. Valck, respectively, after G. Lairesse.

BAC Folio B 2023 3: Imperfect: Lacks the general map of Piedmont in volume 1 (Koeman Bl 75, map 5) and the general map of Savoy in volume 2 (Koeman Bl 76, map 3). Plates are not colored. Bound in contemporary vellum, with the Blaeu device (armillary sphere). Armorial bookplate: Edward Pedder Junr. 1800.
