"A rare poem describing a famous run of John Ward's (the Hungerford) Hounds. The meet was at Donnington, finding at Wellford. After a sharp burst to Spray, they killed near Astridge in the open. The participants in this run are named and reviewed by the author, who begins and ends his song by disparaging the Leicestershire heroes."--Schwerdt.
