Three-Dimensional Artifacts
One leather cuff protector, folded within original yellow label. The label depicts a young man in a sport coat, with patches at the elbows. The label reads: "Cuff protectors. County Clothing leathers."
The perimeter of the leather is perforated with small evenly spaced holes, so that the item could be sewn to an article of clothing. Presumably, the item would have been sewn to the inside of a cuff of a pair of pants, to protect the cuff from wear. Such protection might be especially useful with pants worn during a sporting activity, such as hunting.
