Collection of archival material concerning Eileen Hogan's The poetry box (2003), a "text and image artwork presented as a game investigating the relationship between words and images and exploring the conventions of portraiture" (see artist's website: http://eileenhogan.co.uk/portfolio-item/the-poetry-box/).
The collection includes 98 paintings (portraits of poets and the accompanying images) used as artwork for The poetry box; 19 portraits completed but not used; 4 images completed but not used; and 9 studies.
