A catalogue of the first part of the extensive and valuable collection of Italian, French, Flemish, and Dutch pictures of Mr. Jackson, of Chelsea, retiring into the country : purchased by him at considerable expense from the sale of various distinguished collections and otherwise, for several years past : among those will be found genuine specimens of Giotto, Bellini, P. Veronese, Bassan, Caravaggio, Carracci, Domenichino, Brill, S. Rosa, Poussin, Claude, Holbein, Rubens, Rembrandt, J. Steen, Berghem, Hogarth, Wilson, Gainsborough, Morland : particularly Christ healing the blind, Titian : a Landscape and figures by Glauber and Lairesse : a market scene and ruins, Brill and Carracci : and Le Roi Boit, Jan Steen, from a celebrated collection at Rotterdam : which will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, on the premises, Ebury House, Belgrave Terrace, Chelsea, on Tuesday, April the 7th, 1807, and following day, at twelve o'clock.
