Christie, James, 1773–1831

A catalogue of a small and elegant collection of pleasing cabinet pictures, chiefly of the Dutch School : and an assemblage of high finished modern drawings, framed and glazed, the property of an Amateur : the pictures comprise specimens of Sasso Ferrato, Teniers, Wouvermans, A. V. De Velde, Ostade, Dusart, Mieris, J. Steen, Gonzalles, Bredael, Ferg, Polembemg, Breemberg, Le Nain, Gainsborough, Peers, and Schweickhardt : the drawings by Cipriani, Bartolozzi, Hamilton, Ganisborough, Girtin, Sandby, Wheatley, Westall, and Meyer : which will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Saturday, March the 26th, 1808, at twelve o'clock.
