A catalogue of a valuable and capital collection of Italian, French, Flemish, and Dutch pictures, and prints, elegantly framed and glazed : the property of a Gentleman, dec., brought from his seat in the country : among which are, a grand picture by Snyders and Rubens : a landscape by Nicolo Poussin : the celebrated picture, the Death of Germanicus, by the same Maser : and the Horrors of War, by Rubens : besides other capital specimens of : Paul Veronese, Bassan, Caracci, Salvator Rosa, Velasquez, Paul Bril, Borgognone, Carlo Maratti, Albert Durer, Zucchero, Vandyck, Jordaens, Adrian Vandevelde, Wynants, Mieris, Waterloo, Breughel, Molinaer, Heemskirk, Vernet, Lely, Kneller, Hogarth, Sir J. Reynolds : which (by order of the executors,) will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, April 29, 1808, and following day, at twelve o'clock.
