A catalogue of the genuine, entire and valuable collection of high finished paintings and drawings : the productions of that distinguished artist, in his line, Robert Cleveley, Esq., Dec. (late marine painter to H.R.H. the Prince of Wales, and Marine Draftsman to H.R.H. the Duke of Clarence) : these works being the result of indefatigable study during the last twenty years, pursued with zeal and professional judgment will equally please the eye of the nautical observer and the lover of the art, as their merit is greatly enhanced by scientific correctness in the treatment of the subjects : they comprise all the memorable actions of the British Navy, under Hawke, Howe, Bridport, Sr. Vincent Duncan and Nelson : several hundred marine drawings, Views in the Mediterranean, Spithead, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Dover and Weymouth : the Royal Family on board reviewing the different fleets : Views on the coast of Dover, Folkestone, Deal and Hythe : views of London, Blackfriars, Wesminster and Richmond Bridges : and several hundred drawings and sketches in Indian ink : which (by order of the administrators) will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Saturday the 3d and Monday the 5th March, 1810 : punctually at one o'clock without reserve.
