A catalogue of original portraits of celebrated English personages : from the earliest period of the art to the reign of George the Third : in which will be found specimens of many of the best Masters : among them are several of the Royal Families of Plantagenet, Tudor, and Stuarts : many illustrious statesmen, and men eminent for their valour, piety, and learning : also, several of the ancesters of the principal English nobility and gentry : not the least distinguished among which are those of Howard, Sidney, Wotton, Devereux, Wentworth, Cromwell, Temple, Williams, and Southwell : also, several whole lengths by Sir Peter Lely : and some valuable on account of the peculiaity of costume : with a few miscellaneous pictures by the Old Masters : the whole of which will be sold by Mr. Wheatley, at his Great Room, 191, Piccadilly, on Thursday, 11th July, 1833, at one o'clock, precisely.
