A catalogue of the select and valuable collection of pictures : the property of Sir James Stuart, Bart. ... ; the collection consisting ... principally of the works of the Flemish and Dutch schools, a few valuable pictures by Italian masters, and various specimens of the talents of the English school ... ; and captial specimens of Palma, Bonifaccio, Tintoretto, Bassano, S. Rosa, Mola, Rubens, Van Uden, Claude, Swaneveldt, Both, De Heusch, Jan Steen, F. Hals, Ruysdael, Pynacker, Berghem, Berkheyden, Van der Helst, De Hooghe, Van der Neer, De Witte, Wyck, V. Goyen, Netscher, V. der Capella, P. Potter, Storck, Reitschoof, Cuyp, Mieris, Patel : the whole collection is the genuine property of Sir James, stuart, with the exception of a few pictures chiefly of the Italian School, the property of a personal friend of Sir James, and introduced by his permission : which will be sold by auction, by Messrs. Christie and Manson, at their great room, King Street, St. James's Square, on Saturday May 23, 1835 at one o'clock precisely.
