Title(s):
A description of the Colosseum as re-opened in M.DCCC.XLV. under the patronage of Her Majesty the Queen, and H.R.H. Prince Albert. With numerous illustrations, and eight coloured sections of the panorama of London, embossed by messrs. Dobbs, Bailey, & Co. This catalogue has been prepared for the proprietor by messrs. Kronheim and Skirving, engravers and designers, and the illustrations and letter-press are printed from stereotype plates cast by the patent process of messrs. Kronheim & Co., 3, Earl-street, Blackfriars.

BAC: British Art Center has 2 copies. Copy 1 is the Abbey copy and was was bound by Remnant & Edmonds, is hardbound, with some plates loose. Copy 2 is in paper wrappers, with imprint date 1845. Copy 2 is inscribed ----- Peabody, and has his ms. notes.
BAC: Copy 2 has Catalogue of the sculptors, & their splendid works, now exhibiting at the Glyptotheca, or Museum of Sculpture, Colosseum. 1845, [2] p., printed by Chisman, tipped in. The embossed, colored plates may be wanting in copy 2, or they may have never been issued with copies in paper wrappers.

Plates 3-18 are eight views on eight pairs of facing plates. Each pair consists of an uncolored keyed plate, and a colored, embossed plate.
