A Catalogue of the capital collection of optical, mathematical, and philosophical Instruments and machines : late the property of The Right Hon. the Earl of Bute, Deceased : consisting of a great variety of elegant and valuable articles : including a grand orrery, a nicely-finished new universal equatorial, by Ramsden : a large armillary sphere, a cabinet selection of silver and brass drawing instruments and scales, air pumps, electrical machines, and apparatus, by Nairne : a silver compound microscope; elegant solar, lucernal, and other microscopes, by Adams, &c. reflecting telescopes, by Short, &c. achromatic telescopes, by Dollond and Ramsden : a large universal ring dial, with dials of other constructions : improved barometers, and thermometers; loadstones, silver-mounted : sets of artificial magnets; perspective machines : a curious assortment of French recreations, by Guyot ... : which will be sold by auction by Mess. Skinner & Dyke, on Tuesday the 5th February, and the two following days at twelve o'clock, at Mr. Hutchin's Rooms, King-Street, Covent-Garden.
