"Your portrait above you may view, which is it you exclaim, but no matter; both pictures are so much like you, that they must be considered to flatter."--Verse at the foot of the lithographed sheet.
Title from text printed at the top of the item.
Paper valentine of a lithographed sheet accompanied by removable pieces of paper and white felt. The lithographed sheet is printed with the image of the donkey's legs and the front of a blouse. The background of the lithographed sheet has been handcolored in blue and yellow watercolor. The single piece of accompanied paper is printed and cut with the image of a person's head with long hair and a monocle on the left eye. The pieces of white felt are arranged to form the body of the person with their arm around the felt donkey. The face of the donkey has been lithographed onto paper and adhered beneath the felt piece with the eyes and mouth showing.
