Walker, bookseller and stationer, 14 Myrtle St., Liverpool. Vol. IV is bound with orange covers and a dark blue spine, with a bookseller's stamp at the top of the back cover for Walker, Myrtle St., Liverpool.
Illustrated manuscript with almost daily entries of alternating text and drawings. Entries are dated and loosely in chronological order. Textual content includes quotations, proverbs, excerpts of prose and verse, and poems, in the manner of a commonplace book. Drawings are done in graphite, ink, and watercolor, depicting portraits, scenery, still life, plants, architecture, etc. Vol. III includes a "Critique" section at the back with comments for each entry in the volume. The critique comments appear to be in a different hand from the rest of the volume, possibly that of the other member of the club mentioned in Rule IV.
