Scenery of the river Dart : being a series of thirty-five views representing the most interesting features in its course, from its source in the wildest & most uncultivated parts of Dartmoor, to its mouth in the English Channel : executed to form as nearly as possible facsimilies of the drawings, and therefore calculated not only to interest the admirers of nature, and those unacquainted with the country, but also to form a set of studies for the learners of landscape drawing / drawn and engraved by F.C. Lewis, engraver to H.R.H. Prince Leopold and H.R.H. the late Princess Charlotte.

BAC: British Art Center has three copies. Copy 1 is the Abbey copy. Bound in rebacked slate-grey paper covered boards. Illustrations are hand-colored aquatints. Copy 2 bound in marbled boards. Inscribed: Miss Frances Fellowes. From her excellent father's deeply obliged and most grateful friend. John Hunt.- 1837. Illustrations are in two states: etched (outline forms only) and completed (etching plus tinted aquatint). Copy 3 bound in dark blue paper covered boards. Paper label on front cover: F.C.
