Notes:
The present set was probably first sold by H.G. Clarke & Co. (from 1868); advertisements for Clarke's "Parlour games and pastimes" still appear on a printed label on the bottom of the original box. On the box top, a label for E.S. Windsor has been placed over the earlier imprint of Clarke. Presumably Windsor acquired remaindered copies.
The 12 cards depict: a hound chasing a hare; a donkey and fowl; a bull chasing a man across a field; a handsome cab and horse; a cat jumping from a bag held by a magician; a boy tossed by a donkey; a cat and dog in a stand off; a woman and pig; a dove and a wicker cage; a jockey an his mount; a swallow flying to its nest; a tailor riding on the back of a goose.
