Faith Margaret Hallward was the daughter of the Reginald Hallward (1858-1948), stained glass designer and publisher.

Written in two ruled exercise books, with marbled paper wrappers.
Illustrated manuscript story about the adventures of Cora and Bessie in the Highlands and islands of Scotland. Hallward was probably in her early adolescence at the time of writing.
