"Some copies have inserted after HW's Advertisement eight pages of "Pictures belonging to King Charles the First at his several palaces, appraised; and most of them sold by the Council of State," signed A-B². This inventory, drawn up in 1649, was probably printed soon after the Catalogue had been completed ... I judge that the inventory was merely inserted in unsold copies of the first edition."--Hazen.
