Frontispiece, in color, has title "The Meadow Brook Hounds at 'Woodside,' Syosset, L.I." and is so described in the List of Illustrations. Plate entitled "George Washington, Esq., and Lord Fairfax, Foxhunting" which is the frontispiece in the regular edition, is here listed at p. 238.
Some leaves of plates are printed on both sides; includes 5 folding maps.

Buckram-texture reddish-pink cloth; gold lettering on the front cover and spine, pictorial stamping of gold fox on front cover gold lettering and hunting emblems on spine, blind stamped on front cover, top edge gilt, untrimmed. The slide-out box in which this book was issued is gone. Half-title, color frontispiece, title-page, 1 plate of a color halftone-photoengraving, 103 plates of halftone-photoengravings (47 are printed on both sides), 1 line-photoengraving on title-page, 5 photolithographic maps printed in red on yellow paper. Number 337 of 450 copies, signed by the authors. Spine height: 11 1/2 inches.
