Bookseller's label on front paste-down: Bought of J.R. Smith, 4, Old Compton-st. Plates are hand-colored.
BEIN 2014 1563: Imperfect?: Catalog at front (p. 1-23, first count) wanting, but no evidence that catalog was ever present. 16 cm. Bound in dark olive-green cloth with title stamped in gold on cover. Plates glued together to form a single folded plate bound as a frontispiece. Plates are hand colored.
At front is a catalog of advertisement for books published by Thomas Hurst, consisting of a titlepage dated 1833, 1-23 pages with the verso if the final page blank. At the foot of p. 23 is the imprint, "Printed by Thomas Richardson, Derby."
