BAC: British Art Center has two copies. The NC1479.A45 I55 1823+ copy is bound in contemporary half red roan, and red boards. Publisher's printed title label pasted to front pastedown: "Illustrations to popular songs, by Henry Alken, forty three coloured plates. Price £4.10s neatly half bound." The Folio A 2011 57 Copy 3 copy is part of a compilation of titles by Henry Alken issued by his publisher T. McLean with the title British sportsman's vade mecum. Bound in gilt-tooled brown calf. Plates mounted two-to-a-page.
Each plate contains two to six comical scenes, including a number of hunting or sporting scenes.
