"Each number of this work will consist of four views, and in general about sixteen pages of letter-press; but the quantity will be varied as the subject affords matter for information or otherwise. One number will be published every two months, or oftener, if the nature of the work will admit of it"--Title page.

No more issued; text ends in mid-sentence at foot of p. 152.
In place of plate 19, a slip is inserted, "A print of the monument of the family of Dudley, in the Church of Stoke Newington, will be given in a future number."

BAC: British Art Center copy is the Abbey copy. Bound in half-red morocco and marbled boards. Front wrapper of first part mounted at front, as title page. Plates are numbered 1-18, 20-26, [27]-[28]. Lacks printed slip in place of plate 19. Plates [27] and [28], included at end, are unnumbered and from the date of 1791 would appear to be plates for which no text had been preparted. Ms notation on mounted front wrapper: commenced 12 April 1792. This Book contains, all that was published of this Work. JD 31 March 1801.
