Although the first edition of this work was published in 1596, it was not until this edition of 1609 that Lorini added the final 'Libro Sesto', consisting of 50 profusely illustrated pages.
Book six has separate t.p. Title: Delle fortificationi di Bvonaiuto Lorini, nobile fiorentino, libro sesto.
Woodcut t.p. vignette (cannon). Engraved port. of Lorini by W. Kilian. Numerous in-text ill., some full-page. Rampazetto's device on colophon. Decorated woodcut initials, some historiated.
