A compilation of parts of works, mostly issued in 1834, including Chippendale's one hundred and thirty-three designs of interior decorations in the old French & antique styles; Chippendale's ornaments and interior decorations, in the old French style; M. Lock's A book of ornaments; and Thomas Johnson's A book of ornaments. The four engraved t.-p.'s to these works are included in the number of plates.
The designs ascribed to Chippendale are in fact by Thomas Johnson.--Cf. H. Hayward. Thomas Johnson and English rococo.
