The plate "Roman Catholic Chapel, Moorfields, Celebration of High Mass on Christmas Day" includes a depiction of Agostino Aglio's panorama of the crucifixion, behind the chapel altar.

In copy 1, the frontispiece and a plate which should follow p. 28 (v. 2) are bound in following p. 186 (v. 1); copy 2 wanting t.-p. and table of contents for v. 2. In addition, p. 104 of v. 2 is in a different setting of type in the two copies. Copy 1 has bookplates of George P. Gunnis, and Rupert Sackville [Gwynne]. Copy 3, wantingthe frontispiece, is v. 1 only.
