BAC: British Art Center copy 2 has bound with it: an 8 p. prospectus entitled Proposals for publishing by subscription ... an account and explanation of the paintings ... discovered ... on the walls of the present House of Commons ... by John Sidney Hawkins; and has appended: Mr. John Thomas Smith's Vindication (16 p.); A correct statement and vindication of the conduct of John Sidney Hawkins ... Drawn up and published by Mr. Hawkins himself. London, Sold by messrs. Faulder, 1807 (Printed by S. Gosnell; 87 p.); and the author's Sixty-two additional plates to Smith's Antiquities of Westminster ... London, J. T. Smith [1809] (1 p. ., 2 p. 64 plates, incl. plans), the last 2 plates of which were published by J. Booth, 1819.

Text by J. S. Hawkins. After a quarrel with Smith, Hawkins' work was revised by other hands, and at his own request his name was omitted from the t.-p.
