Author may actually be pseud. of Henry Peter Brougham and Vaux. The 2nd line of the pamphlet reads: "My father, Mr. Tomkins ..." Isaac Tomkins is a pseud. for Brougham and Vaux. He didn't have a daughter named Lydia.
