Consists of 7 hollow cast lead figures, hand-painted with enamel.
Hollow lead figures first appeared in England around 1868.
These 7 figures represent characters from stories by Charles Dickens: Captain Cuttle from Dombey and Son; Wackford Squeers from Nicholas Nickleby; and Sam Weller, Tony Weller, Alfred Jingle, and Joe "the Fat Boy" from Pickwick papers.
