In this copy, page 39 is inscribed "Cancel this leaf. R. L. J." A revised copy of the leaf is tipped-in. Another copy of pages 41-42 is tipped in with corrections made in author's hand.
Letter from Royal Academy dated July 1920 and newspaper clipping of same date discussing the attribution to Lane are tipped-in this copy.
Attributed to Richard Lane by inscription in copy deposited at Royal Academy in 1856.
