Laid in is large sheet with hand-written proclamation from the Royal Agricultural Improvement Society of Ireland, dated 24 Nov. 1859, thanking Augustus Frederick Fitzgerald, 3rd Duke of Leinster, for his work with the Society and expressing regret at his retirement.
Original drawings of Rocque's survey of a parcel of land (ca. 3 miles by 2 miles) owned by James Fitzgerald, 1st Duke of Leinster, and located in the parish of Graney, near Castledermot, co. Kildare, Ireland. Details shown include buildings, fields, drains, ditches, etc.
