Schetky, John Christian, 1778–1874

A series of four views to illustrate the naval action fought on the first day of June, 1813, between the English frigate Shannon, and the American frigate Chesapeake / lithographed by Mr. L. Haghe, from very accurate paintings executed by J.C. Schetky, Esq., under the inspection of Captain R.H. King, R.N. ; accompanied by a description of the plates, and a general account of the engagement.
