Mrs. Stewart's concert at Hanover Square was advertised in the June 10, 1789, issue of The Oracle, Bell's New World, to be performed on June 15, 1789. The performer may be the same Mrs. Stewart (later Mrs. Bellair) identified by Highfill as a member of Stephen Kemble's troupe in Edinburgh. See: Highfill, Philip H. A biographical dictionary of actors, actresses, musicians, dancers, managers & other stage personnel in London, 1660-1800.
