Manuscript, largely unpublished, for Banks of the Loire illustrated, a work by George Robert Lewis, John James Masquerier, and Rachel Masquerier. The work was evidently conceived as a series in six parts, of which only the first comprising Tours and its vicinity ever appeared. Part 1 is represented in its printed form within the present volume (with Masquerier's manuscript annotations). Parts 2-6 are in manuscript form, including 43 leaves of text and 12 drawings in graphite or watercolor, treating: 2. Orleans 3. Blois. 4. Amboise. 5. Saumur. 6. Angers.
