1. A catalogue of a genuine and valuable collection, the property of a Gentleman : consisting of about thirty pictures of the first class of the different schools of Italy, recently arrived from Rome and Naples : together with a capital selection of the most perfect cabinet pictures, of the Flemish and Dutch schools : collected by him with great taste and liberality, during several journies on the Continent, at different periods, since the beginning of the French Revolution : with the nicest attention to their state of preservation, and by the most favourite Masters : comprising the works of Giorgione, Schiavoni, Paduanino, Domenichino, Carracci, Parmegiano, N. Poussin, Guido, Baroccio, Polydore, S. Ferrato, Rubens, Rembrandt, G. Dow, Wouvermans, Du Jardin, A. V. de Velde, Pynaker, Ostade, Bega, Poelemberg, Waterloo, Palamedes, &c. : particularly three exquisite cabinet pictures by Domenichino, and a capital portrait by Giorgione : among them are very few pictures ever on view in this country; of those few, are the Fiddler, by G. Dow, from the Orlean's Collection : and several first-rate pictures from the same and from the collections of Mons. De Calonne, Baron Nagel, &c. : which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, May 9th, 1800, and following day, at twelve o'clock : note, no person can be admitted to the Museum through the late residence of Lord Cawder's, the only admittance is from Cumberland Mews.

The catalogue of the very valuable museum, of that intelligent and well-known collector, the late William Smith, Esq. of Boston, in Lincolnshire : removed to London, to be sold, pursuant to his will : comprising manuscripts and missalls, on vellum, richly illuminated : cameos : intaglios : gems : medals : miniatures : vases : bronzes : large China jars : pagodas : beautiful model of a man of war, &c. &c. : small, but valuable library of books, in French, English, Spanish and Italian : a selection of admirable paintings, the works of the following Masters : Lionardo Da Vinci, Titian, Rubens, Le' Seur, Cuyp, Vander Heyden, Weenix, Teniers, Mieris, Canaletti, Vander Werf, Breughal, Dietrechi, Frank Hals, Rottenhamer, &c. &c. : including those exquisite pictures of flowers and fruit, companions, painted by Van Husum : for some time exhibited at the European Museum, universally admires, and ae matchless in beauty and preservation : and, will be sold by auction Peter Coxe, Burrell, and Foster, at Mr. Squibb's Great Rooms, Saville Row, on Tuesday, February 25, 1800, and following day, at twelve o'clock : to be viewed three days preceding the sale, except Sunday) when catalogues (price one shilling, to be returned to purchasers) may be had at the place of sale, and of Messs. 3. A catalogue of a capital and valuable collection of highly finished modern drawings, elegantly framed and glazed : a few pleasing pictures : remarkably-fine proof prints : beautiful miniature drawings of English birds : views of Pompeii, &c. &c. &c. : a beautiful statue of a Shifting Venus, small whole length : a most superb and extensive table, desert, tea and coffee service, of beautiful Dresden porcelain : a collection of fine old colored and Blue Japan : a valuable gold repeating watch by Vulliamy : and several rare and curious articles : the property of the Rev. W. Stevens, D. D. deceased, eminently distinguished for his refined taste in the polite arts : the drawings consist of chef d'oeuvres of the following esteemed and admired Masters, viz. : Zuccarelli, M. Ricci, Goupy, Rosalby, Pococke, Clerisseau, Cipriani, Bartolozzi, Barnett, P. Sandby, Wilson, Cozens, Taverner, &c. : also three capital drawings, in bistre, fancy subjects, by Mr. West : which (by order of the executrix) will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, November 28th, 1800, at one o'clock : may be viewed two days preceding the sale, when catalogues may be had.

4. A catalogue of the capital and valuable collection of Italian, French, Flemish, and Dutch pictures formed by the late John Strange, Esq. LL.D. and F.R. A.S. deceased : many years British resident at Venice : collected with infinite taste and judgment, and at the most liberal expence : amongst which are many rare specimens from the earliest era of painting to the present time : in the highest state of preservation : which will be sold by auction (by order of the executors,) on Saturday, March 15, 1800, and two following days (Sunday excepted) at twelve o'clock : to be viewed two days preceding the sale : catalogues (price one shilling each) may be had on the premises : of Messrs. 5. A catalogue of a most capital and truly valuable collection : consisting of about fifty well-known pictures, of the highest class and consequence, which have graced some of the first palaces in Florence, Rome, and Naples : the many judges who have visited Ital, and examined the justly celebrated works in the fine arts, in that country will recognize these pictures : which are in the same pure and perfect state as when they were first transferred from the easels of the immortal artists who painted them, to the apartments in the several distinguished palaces they adorned : they consist of the works of Raffael, Polidore, Titian, Parmegiano, L. Carracci, A. Carracci, Guido, Domenichino, Baroccio, Guercino, Schidoni, Albano, Bronzino, Velasquez, Claude Lorraine, N. Poussin, Caravagio, P. Brill, and various other great and esteemed masters : which will be sold by auction (without the least reserve,) by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, April the 25th, 1800, at twelve o'clock : to be publickly viewed two days preceding the sale with catalogues only to be had in Pall Mall.
